Town of Riverdale Park Notice of Hearing

Notice is hereby given that the Mayor & Council of the Town of Riverdale Park, a municipal corporation in Maryland, will conduct a public hearing in the Riverdale Park Municipal Center on Monday, March 20, 2000 at 7:30 p.m. or soon thereafter as it may be heard, on a resolution introduced upon the consent of 100% of the property owners and the owners of at least 25% of the assessed valuation of real property located at the point contiguous to the existing corporate boundary line of the Town of Riverdale Park, Maryland which includes all the following described area.

Area of Annexation defined:

The lands of Patrick A. O'Boyle, Archdiocese of Washington (St. Bernard's Church and School properties) parcels 40, 41, 42 (521,467 square feet or 11,9712 acres liber 2001, folio 486) and the property of Alvaro N. Godinez et ux parcel 43 liber 7681, folio 832 as described on exhibit A and exhibit B which are available for review at the town office located at 5008 Queensbury Rd., Riverdale Park, Maryland.

Said resolution proposes to extend the boundaries of the Town of Riverdale Park to include the aforesaid area as consented by property owners, and that said area and the persons residing therein shall become subject to all the laws, ordinances and regulations of said Town of Riverdale Park.
