Margaret Uber Margaret Uber, formerly of Sheridan Street died in early November at the age of 92. Marge and Ed Uber moved to the Town in 1953. Ed died six years ago and Marge remained in their home until recently when her nephew, Tim, and his wife, Michelle, took her to live with them.

The Ubers' home on Sheridan Street was known as Triple Oaks, a name derived from the triple-trunked oak tree that grew in front until a few years ago. Marge and Ed developed their side yard as a showplace maintaining a fish pond, rock garden and beautiful flowers, trees and shrubs. They received numerous Beautification Committee awards from the Town and County over the years.

At the request of her family, memorial donations to the Town were suggested. The proceeds will be used to plant trees in memory of Marge and Ed Uber.
