Each year, in February, residents are recognized for their service to a town project. Following are those who received awards at the February 7 meeting.

Alan Thompson receives Mayor's Award Alan Thompson, a member of the Web Site Committee, is recognized for his work in creating a web site for the town. Edward Joynes, Chair, also received an award.

Members ofd the Veterans Monument Committee receive Mayor's Award Members of the Veterans Monument Committee are recognized for their services (left to right: Chairman Ray Badders, Members Cleveland Moffett and John Ferguson). Other members of the Committee: Howard Simons, James D. Williams and Chris Williams, architect for the project received awards, but were not present.

Paulette Donaldson receives Mayor's Award, with her son Michael at her side Paulette Donaldson, shown with her son, Michael, is recognized for her volunteer time in updating information on the town's cable channel and for her extra work on behalf of Recreation Board activities.
