Editor:

My name is Gearline C. Bryan, President of B&B Youth Home for Boys, Inc., located at 5910 Cleveland Avenue, Riverdale, MD.

I have canvassed your neighborhood, been interviewed by the Prince Georges Gazette, appeared on P.G. Cable TV and presented several times to the Mayor, City Council and neighbors to explain the mission of B&B.

I have submitted by fax a letter and a copy of my case management plan as requested a month ago to the Mayor of Riverdale. B&B Youth Home is not a subsidiary of Port Hope or F&N Group Home, Inc. Mr. Blue (Port Hope) nor Mrs. Baxter (F&N) are not affiliated with B&B.

I appreciate the concerns of Joseph and Tracey Toscano's letter. Please be assured my staff is highly qualified to provide the needed services of the four (4) residents who will reside at 5910 Cleveland Avenue.

I am a certified therapeutic provider with experience working with the needy population with churches, federal and local government agencies and private organizations.

My suggestion to concerned residents like Mr. Toscano is to think of positive ways to contribute to the success of these young boys, ages 12-15 years old. We welcome mentors, tutors, and those with experience in gardening.

Sincerely,

Gearline C. Bryan, MBA
