Snow and Ice Removal from Sidewalks Residents are required to remove snow and ice from sidewalks that front or abut their property. Failure to do so may result in a code violation and fine. Building Permits Building permits are required for remodeling, new construction, etc. You must have a permit from the county in additional to a permit from the town. Business Licenses If you operate a business in the Town of Riverdale Park, you are required to have a business license from the town.
